You&
#39;ve heard of
#USAFEGRIT by now. You&
#39;ve heard our senior leaders discuss its importance. But how are our Airmen being personally impacted by
#GRIT, and how is it connecting Airmen to each other and to the mission?
“Operation GRIT is something that needs to be taken outside of the training environment and be applied daily in and out of the work center,” said Staff Sgt. Laura Gonzalez, 501st Combat Support Wing Emergency Management specialist. ”It will help Airmen, but only if the principles and concepts are actively applied and not just a soundbite. Each and every Airman is a leader, which the Air Force needs now more than ever. It takes actions, not a title, to be a leader.”
Gonzalez stays
#resilient through maintaining balance mentally, spiritually, and physically, focusing on controlling the things she can control, and practicing daily gratitude. Thanks for sharing your perspective!
