LAAFB, AERO bridge
Lt. Gen. Tom Sheridan, Space and Missile Systems Center commander, and Dr. Wanda Austin, The Aerospace Corporation president and chief executive officer, break ground for the construction of a pedestrian overpass across El Segundo Boulevard, Jan. 26. The wrecking ball
Large chunks of concrete fall off as the wrecking ball takes another swing at Building 105, the former Space and Missile Systems Center's main building in Area A. Other structures have been systematically demolished by a private crew to make way for a residential neighborhood. The process is in accordance with the Systems Acquisition Management Support Complex project.
